AS3 Performance rear brake master cylinder guards are constructed from 2.3mm thick aluminium to provide the best protection possible without adding unnecessary weight to the motorcycle. The guards come in a textured matt black finish with AS3 Performance branding and is supplied with fitting instructions to help you mount it to the motorcycle.

I replaced the stock plastic guards as only after a couple of hundred miles, the heals of my boots were already rubbing on the stock guards.
The AS3 covers are aluminium and are a thinner profile than the plastic ones and therefore are way stronger but also sit closer to the frame of the bike and this prevents the boots from coming into contact with the AS3 guards.
