Improvements And Upgrades For The Sur-Ron Light Bee X

AS3 Performance has predominantly been a petrol powered motorcycle parts supplier but we were seriously intrigued by the versatility of the Sur-Ron Light Bee X and how it filled the gap between a motocross bike and an e-mountain bike perfectly. Opening up off-road riding to a much wider audience and providing an enjoyable riding experience for a range of riders with variable skill levels and capabilities on a motorcycle or mountain bike. So in 2024 we decided to purchase a Sur-Ron Light Bee X to learn more about them and to use as a development bike for any parts we thought could be improved. What Parts Can You Install On The Sur-Ron Light Bee X To Make It Better Off-Road?

We developed a new set of foot pegs or the Sur-Ron Light Bee X which are designed to be better for riding on rougher off-road sections or in wetter, muddy conditions. They are 22mm wider than the standard pegs and have stainless steel teeth so you will feel more stable on the bike and have better grip at your feet when you need it. We also supply a set of billet aluminium brake levers that are specifically designed for 1-2 finger use which is what we found we were using on the brake levers when we were riding the Light Bee X off-road.

How Can You Make The Sur-Ron Light Bee X Look Better

There are many aftermarket parts that you can install on the Sur-Ron Light Bee X to give it some customisation and improve how it looks. One of our favourites is always a set of billet aluminium reservoir covers. They CNC machined with an anodised finish and look much better than the cast OEM parts. They are also available in a choice of 6 colours to mach most colour schemes on the Light Bee X. Installing a set of our billet aluminium axle blocks is another aesthetic upgrade you can make to the Sur-Ron Light Bee X. They are thicker than the OEM blocks, have a better finish and the laser etched AS3 anodised logos and alignment scales complete the look. Another way to improve the look of the Light Bee X would be to change the graphics from that standard graphics that come on the bike to something more customised, that way you can match them with any of our anodised parts to give the bike a completely fresh look. Or if you prefer the more understated look, remove the graphics completely and replace the stock silver parts with our black anodised parts. The possibilities are endless.
