Which Protection Parts Should You Install On The Beta 480 RR?

The first part we would recommend to install on any enduro bike would be a good strong skid plate. We have skid plates designed specifically with enduro in mind that will offer protection to not just the engine casings but the water pump, clutch cover and ignition cover too. Our DTC plastic skid plates are manufactured from strong 6mm plastic and also offer protection to the linkage. Radiator braces are another part we advise anyone riding in enduro conditions to install as the radiators on the bike are very exposed and can easily become damaged if the bike is laid over and takes an impact which can often happen in enduro races. Rear brake disc guards and billet aluminium clutch, ignition and water pump covers are all also very popular parts with our sponsored enduro riders as they are stronger than the OEM parts.

How Can You Make The Beta 480 RR Easier To Ride?

We stock various different parts that you can install to help make the riding position on the Beta 480 RR more suited to you hight or style of riding. One of them being handlebar risers, these come as two small blocks with longer bolts that give you option of removing them if required, or we do another version that is incorporated in to the bottom of the handlebar clamp, both raise the bars by 10mm. If you're looking to improve stability at your feet, our titanium foot pegs for the 480 RR have a wider platform than the OEM and also offer a much higher level of grip. We also offer an oversized rear brake pedal tip that is popular with riders with larger feet as sometimes they can struggle to locate the OEM brake pedal tip.

What Are The Most Popular Parts For The Beta 480 RR?

Our top 5 most popular parts for the Beta 480 RR, in no particular order are. 1. Rear Brake Pedal and Gear Lever Kit, these are incredibly popular with many of our enduro riders due to the OEM parts easily becoming damaged as they are very exposed and can easily be caught on rocks or logs etc, our brake pedal has a flexible spring loaded tip that will pivot on impact and a brake snake cable to help prevent damage. 2. Billet Aluminium Clutch Cover, this part is a much stronger upgrade from the OEM part and is used by many of our sponsored riders. 3. DTC Plastic Skid Plate with linkage protection, this is an essential part when riding enduro and we wouldn't recommend anyone to ride the bike without one. The DTC plastic design also helps to smoothly and quietly glide over any obstacles you may encounter in extreme or hard enduro. 4. Factory Series Rear Sprocket, you will find this type of rear sprocket on most enduro bikes as it has a steel outer ring to help prevent it becoming bent or damaged if caught on something and an aluminium inner hub to keep the overall weight to a minimum. 5. Billet Aluminium Rear Brake Disc Guard, used by all past and present sponsored riders including Jonny Walker and the Beta Australia Race Team, replaces the whole caliper mount and provides solid protection to the rear brake disc.
