Beta 480 RR Enduro Bike With Red & Black AS3 Hard Parts
A Selection Of AS3 Performance Upgrades For The Beta 480 RR Enduro Bike
Back in 2023 one of our Italian customers purchased a brand new Beta 480 RR enduro bike to ride through the winding local trails of Northern Sicily. To add some custom touches to the bike and make it stand out from the stock factory models the first thing he did was add some custom red and black graphics to match the red and black plastics that came as standard on all of the 2023 Beta RR models that year. He then reached out to us to see what parts we could supply for the 480 RR to add the finishing touches and complete the look. We supplied a range of parts for the bike including foot pegs, chain guide, disc guard, side stand and various anodised accessories. Below we highlight each part we supplied and explain in more detail the features and benefits of installing it and how it can improve your riding experience or enhance the look of the motorcycle. Each section features a photo of the part from the photoshoot done by the customer on a ride out over the dry and dusty Sicilian trails.

Foot Pegs
Our Racing Series foot pegs were one of the first parts to be installed. They are slightly wider than the OEM foot pegs which helps with balance and stability. The 34 individual stainless steel teeth also provide a higher level of grip over the OEM foot pegs, these teeth can also be replaced when worn over time if required. Our Racing Series foot pegs for the Beta 480 RR come in either a red or black anodised colour option, both of which would have suited the colour scheme of this bike, with the rider opting to go for the red set on the 480 RR. The same foot pegs are also available in red or black in our Factory Series design for the Beta RR models. The foot pegs installed on the bike in the photo below will fit all Beta RR models from 2020-2025 with another option available for the 2010-2019 models. Both our Racing and Factory aluminium foot pegs are very popular with a trail and enduro riders and are available for other brands, including Gas Gas, KTM, Husqvarna & Sherco.

Chain Guide
The OEM Beta chain guide has also been replaced with our AS3 chain guide that is constructed from TPU plastic which has excellent flexibility and elasticity properties, meaning it can withstand impact without snapping or bending, especially important when riding enduro. It is mounted to the swing arm with a CNC machined aluminium mounting bracket to keep it held securely in place. Our chain guides for the Beta models are available with the choice of a red or black anodised mounting bracket with the photo below showing the the red option installed on the 480 RR. Our chain guides have been used by many of our sponsored riders including most recently JWR Honda MXGP team who previously had some issues with the OEM chain guides that their team manager confirmed our chain guides were able to eliminate. We have different chain guide options available for many other manufacturers which can be found in the Protection section of our website.

Rear Brake Disc Guard
Our rear brake disc guards are an incredibly popular part with enduro riders, and the guard that you can see here on the 480 RR is the same rear brake disc guard that Jonny Walker used for the two years that he was riding for Beta. It replaces the whole rear brake caliper mount and provides solid protection for the rear brake disc. it is a go-to part for many of our enduro customers. It is also used by all of the riders on the Beta Motorcycles Australia enduro team. The 'fin' on this part is available in 3 colour options, red, black and blue with the caliper mount being black on all of them. As you can see below the 480 RR is fitted with the red version and the close up shows how dry and dusty the Northern Sicilian trails are.

Front Brake and Clutch Levers
Our forged front brake and clutch levers have also been installed on the Beta 480 RR. The bike comes as standard with a Nissin front brake and Brembo hydraulic clutch and these lever carry over to all other Beta RR models from 2013-2025. Our forged levers are a popular choice for both our enduro and motocross riders as they are direct replacements for the OEM levers and have a similar look and feel but they are cold forged, which helps prevent them from snapping on impact, unlike the OEM cast levers. With a black anodised finish and red plastic adjuster, these levers match the black and red colour scheme of the Beta 480 RR perfectly. In addition to our forged levers, we also offer flexi levers which will pivot on impact, preventing them from snapping. These are available anodised in red, black and blue for the Beta models.

Front Brake Reservoir Cover
Reservoir covers are a quick, easy and cost effective way to add some customisation to your motorcycle which is why they are a popular addition for many of our customers. As as you can see in the photo below, the look of the master cylinder is completely transformed by replacing the dull cast OEM reservoir cover with our CNC machined billet aluminium front brake reservoir cover. Our front brake reservoir covers are available in a choice of 3 anodised colours for the Beta models: red, which has been installed on the 480 RR as shown in the photo below, black, for riders looking to keep the master cylinder all the same colour and blue, to match the colour scheme of the Beta RR Racing models. All Beta RR and Xtrainer models use the same front brake reservoir cover on the Nissin front brake master cylinder from 2010-2025.

Clutch Reservoir Cover
On the opposite side of the handlebar, our red anodised clutch reservoir cover has been installed on the Brembo master cylinder that has come as standard on the 480 RR since its first introduction in 2015. The red anodised finish looks great next to the subtle red Beta logos on the grips and the red adjusters on our forged levers. Simple things like this can make all the difference to the appearance of the bike. Just like the front brake reservoir cover these are also available in the option of black and blue too. All of our clutch reservoir covers have a laser etched AS3 Performance logo and the anodised finish helps resist corrosion from the brake fluid. These same covers were also used by Jonny Walker when he rode for Beta and many more of our sponsored enduro riders.

Side Stand
To add the finishing touches to the 480 RR, the silver OEM side stand has been swapped for one of our black anodised side stands which runs parallel to and matches the black rear subframe perfectly. Our side stands are not only a visual upgrade but are also a stronger alternative to the OEM part as they are forged from 6061 aluminium which is not as brittle as cast aluminium. If you're looking for a stronger side stand but want to keep the OEM look, we also offer the same side stand in silver too. You may also notice the red plastic extension at the end of the side stand in the photo below. Our side stand base extensions for the Beta RR models are designed to be screwed on to the bottom of either the AS3 Performance side stand or the OEM side stand, to give the stand more surface area and to prevent it from sinking on soft ground.
