Jack Edmondson's PAR Homes Gas Gas MC 250 F
A Detailed Look At Jack's EnduroGP and ISDE Race Bike
This year, Jack has ridden for PAR Homes Enduro team on a 2025 Gas Gas MC 250 F. Throughout the 2025 season Jack has competed in the Welsh and British Sprint and Enduro Championships. He also raced the EnduroGP of Wales and represented Team GB at the ISDE. He is planning to do the final 2025 EnduroGP round in Germany next month. As the season has gone on, Jack has run more and more AS3 Performance parts on his MC 250 F, including clutch cover, rear brake disc guard, water pump cover, master cylinder covers, our recently developed DTC plastic skid plate and some other important protection parts, which we will detail below.

Clutch Cover
Our billet aluminium clutch cover is an essential upgrade for enduro riders and like Jack's brother Harry Edmondson, is one of the very first parts he wanted to run. This part of the bike is very vulnerable to rocks, stumps, and other trail hazards. As with all of our clutch covers, this one fitted to the Gas Gas MC 250 F is CNC-machined from a solid block of 6061 billet aluminium, giving it far greater strength than the stock cast version. It also boosts oil capacity to 626ml, a 7% increase over the OEM’s 584ml, improving durability and performance. For a more detailed look at the features and benefits of AS3 Performance clutch covers, head to our Clutch Covers Feature. For Jack's Team GB ISDE race bike, we also developed a special, custom-made clutch cover, which you will see in some of the pictures that follow.

Water Pump Cover
The water pump cover is another go-to upgrade for enduro riders. When paired with the clutch cover (the water pump cover lies to the right of the clutch cover in the picture below), it provides outstanding protection to the internal water pumps parts, reducing the risk of losing coolant during a race. The photo below shows the water pump cover installed on Jack's race bike at the 2025 ISDE in Italy. The water pump cover is also housing and protecting our oversized water pump impeller cooling kit, which Jack has fitted. Cooling kits are are designed to keep your bike running cooler and performing better. By increasing the overall coolant flow through the water pump and using an oversized, CNC-machined high-flow impeller, these kits reduce coolant temperature by 10–15°C. The result is a cooler-running engine with improved performance and reliability!

DTC Plastic Skid Plate
Skid plates are especially important for enduro bikes, as they shield critical components like the engine and linkage from rocks, logs, and other trail hazards, preventing costly damage and keeping the bike performing at its best in tough terrain. We have recently started offering DTC plastic skid plates and Jack ran it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. They are manufactured from durable 6mm DTC plastic, making them 40% lighter than aluminum, while offering superior impact resistance. The one-piece design eliminates weak points from welds or joins, ensuring long-lasting reliability. The skid plate also provides essential protection to the rear suspension linkage and there is the option of adding a replaceable 6mm plate to increase coverage to 12mm, for even greater durability. Ventilation and maintenance holes are integrated into the design for practicality. For a comprehensive guide on skid plates check out our skid plates feature.

Rear Brake Disc Guard
The rear brake disc guard is another crucial piece of protection for enduro riders, as the rear disc is one of the most exposed and vulnerable parts of the bike. Rocks, logs, and other obstacles on the course can easily cause damage, and even a slight bend or break can put an end to a race. Precision CNC-machined from billet aluminium, this guard delivers outstanding strength and long-lasting durability. Supplied with a caliper mount, the guard ensures solid, dependable protection for your rear brake disc. Jack runs our black anodised Factory Series version and it is designed to fit models with the Brembo rear brake.

Ignition Wire Guard
Jack fitted our ignition wire guard before the ISDE. They are engineered to mount onto the two upper bolt holes of the ignition cover, shielding the exposed wire that runs across the top. Precision-machined from durable 6061 billet aluminium, they provide reliable protection against impacts, debris, and snagging. This added protection is especially important for enduro, where rough terrain, rocks, and branches can easily damage vulnerable wiring and compromise performance.

Front Brake & Clutch Master Cylinder Covers
Our front brake and clutch reservoir covers are CNC-machined from billet aluminium to ensure a perfect fit on the master cylinder. Not only do they provide excellent durability, but they also add a premium visual upgrade compared to standard OEM parts, as shown in the pictures below. Jack has run the anodised black as well as red versions on his MC 250 F - he told us he prefers the red, as they really pop out and catch the eye on his bike - we can't not agree with him here! These reservoir covers are designed for Brembo master cylinders and fit a wide range of Gas Gas models - from the MC 125 two stroke to the EX 450 F four-stroke. What Other AS3 Parts Has Jack Run On His Gas Gas MC 250 F Over The Year?
Jack Edmondson ran our side stand for the EnduroGP of Wales as his bike had to be kept upright in Parc Fermé overnight before each day's racing. His mechanic actually adapted a Gas Gas enduro side stand to fit Jack's MC 250 F for that particular event. For the 2025 ISDE, Jack ran our oil filler plug, anodised in red which can be seen in one of the pictures above, as well as a red rear brake master cylinder cover, giving his bike that "factory look". He also added extra protection parts including a swing arm guard.

Jack Edmondson's 2025 Season Highlights
ACU Welsh Open Sprint Championship
Jack Edmondson successfully defended his title to become 2025 Welsh Sprint Champion, marking back-to-back championship wins. His campaign culminated in a tight final round, where he narrowly edged out American opponent, Josh Toth on his Kawasaki, after battling hard all day. Jack's victory adds to his growing reputation in UK sprint enduro racing, reinforcing his consistency and determination under pressure.
ACU British Enduro Championship
In the 2025 ACU British Enduro Championship, Jack performed consistently at a high level across all rounds. He began the season strongly by securing wins in Rounds 1 and 2 at Bicton. At Rounds 3 and 4 at Tong, he won the Championship Class on Saturday, while KTM's Dan Mundell took the win on Sunday. Later in the season, during Rounds 7 and 8 in Devon, he clinched the Sunday victory, with Triumph's Jamie McCanney winning on Saturday. Unfortunately a DNF in the penultimate round meant Edmondson finished 3rd overall with 110 points, just behind Jamie McCanney with 122 points and Mikael Persson with 120 points.

EnduroGP of Wales
Jack wasn't taking part in the whole 2025 Championship but entered his home Enduro GP round with PAR Homes Enduro team. In the Akrapovič Super Test on Friday night, he impressed the home crowd with a strong performance, breaking the two-minute barrier on the deteriorating track. On Saturday, he carried that momentum into the main event, finishing 10th overall in the EnduroGP standings with a time of 1:04:52.05. This placed him 5th in the Enduro 1 (E1) class, behind front-runners like KTM's Josep Garcia and Triumph's Mikael Persson. Jack showed consistency again on Sunday, placing him P15 overall and P7 in the E1 class. Considering he had not entered the full 2025 Championship, this was a strong showing from the Gas Gas rider. We look forward to seeing how he gets on competing in the last round of the EnduroGP Championship in Germany next month.

2025 ISDE
Competing for Team GB at the 2025 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Bergamo, Italy, Jack delivered a standout performance. On Day 1, he finished 32nd in the Trophy standings and 42nd overall, helping the team secure 8th place. He improved to 23rd in the Trophy standings and 23rd overall on Day 2. Edmondson maintained his momentum, finishing 23rd overall on Day 3 and 22nd in the Trophy standings. On Day 4, he capped off the event with an impressive 7th-fastest scratch time on the final test, finishing as the top British rider. Throughout the competition, Edmondson demonstrated exceptional consistency and resilience, contributing significantly to Team GB's overall performance. His efforts were instrumental in the team's 7th-place finish in the Men’s World Trophy standings. Jack's performance at the 2025 ISDE further solidified his reputation as a top-tier enduro competitor and a key asset to Team GB's international success.
