BSMA Nationals 2022

Competing in the MX2 class, Adam's 2022 season didn't get off to the best of starts, as he unfortunately got injured in pre-season training. However, at Round 1 on 19th/20th March at Sherwood, Adam managed to get on the podium with 3rd overall.

Round 2 at Landrake 4 weeks later, Adam managed a place better, coming 2nd overall. Adam said of his result, "I had a solid round for 2nd overall. Building strength and fitness back each week after some struggle with injuries but each week that passes I'm feeling stronger".

Adam's form continued. At Round 3 on 21st/22nd May at Brookthorpe, he managed another 2nd overall, adding, "I had some great racing and battles all weekend. Just needed that little bit more in the tank! I'll keep pushing and my day will come".

Round 4 at Culham on 18th/19th June saw Adam top of the box with 1st overall. Adam said, "There was some great racing all weekend and I kept the good results rolling with a P1 this time out"

Rounding off the Championship at Cusses Gorse on 6th/7th August, Adam rode the perfect race weekend. He qualified fastest and in each of the 4 races, managed 4 holeshots as well as 4 wins! What a way to end the Championship and he was crowned 2022 BSMA Nationals Champion!!

Acerbis Nationals

After starting the season injured, Adam still rode round 1 at Culham on 26th March. He managed 15th overall even though he didn't ride in the last race.

Finding his fitness coming back, round 2 at Hawkstone Park on 30th April proved better, managing 7th overall.

Round 3 at Haverrig on 28th May saw Adam's form and fitness almost fully back, getting on the podium with a 3rd overall.

His form continued with round 4 at Culham on 25th Jun culminating in an overall victory! Adam said, "It was a slow start to the season with one thing after another going wrong early in the season but finally it feels good to see the hard work paying off. Over the moon to take the overall".

Round 5 at Pontrilas on 23rd Jul and round 6 at Farleigh Castle on 13th Aug, produced a solid 4th overall at both events. Adam finished off the season with round 7 at Fatcat Motoparc on 3rd Sep. Having to sit out the final race, he managed a 14th overall.

Even though Adam had issues at the start of the season as well as the last race of the season, he came a very respectable 3rd overall in the Acerbis Nationals Championship 2022!

Bridgestone British Masters

Competing in the Amateur MX2 class, at round 1 on 9th April at Hawkstone Park, Adam managed 6th overall, still feeling the effects of being injured in pre-season.

Round 2 on 15th May at Pontrilas, he "had to settle for 3rd overall after a disaster day". This shows Adam's high expectations, even though having made the podium, he knew it could have been even better.

At round 3 on 11th June at Cusses Gorse, Adam finally made it all come together to take 1st overall! He added, "It's been a long time coming and thank you to everyone sticking behind me to make it happen".

Round 4 on 16th July at Marshfield, Adam managed 2nd overall. He stated, "Hot conditions made it a challenging weekend at RD4 Bridgestone British Masters. I Had the speed and felt comfortable onboard the Fantic XX 250 but the 2nd step was the best I could reach after some terrible starts on the Saturday. Gave myself a kick up the backside over night and the starts were much better on day 2, going 5-2-1-2 for 2nd overall".

Adam finished off the season with a 6th overall with round 5 on 20th August at Ironworks plus a great 2nd overall at round 6 on 17th September at Foxhills, giving him another very respectable 3rd overall in the Bridgestone British Masters Championship 2022!

Adam said of his overall season: "Thank you to the great bunch of people and company's that help and support me. Without your help it just wouldn't be possible".

Adam gave some valuable feedback on the parts he ran this season:

"The key to all of my success is a reliable bike. Using AS3 Performance products throughout my bike keeps my mind on the racing and not the bike. The craftsmanship and reliability is second to none and I have 100 percent trust in every part. If I trust my bike, I can ride faster".

Adam ran a number of our parts on his Fantic XX 250 including, clutch cover, ignition cover, front and rear sprockets, rear brake disc guard and caliper guard, rear brake clevis, chain guide, front and rear brake pads, as well as rear axle blocks. He also ran a number of other small hard parts like reservoir covers, rotating bar clamps and steering stem nut.
