AS3 Performance aluminium skid plates are constructed from 4mm thick aluminium to provide the best protection possible to your engine without adding unnecessary weight to the bike. They feature double welds on the joints for extra strength and have all the relevant holes for ventilation and to allow you to work on the bike without removing the plate. The skid plate has a textured matt black finish and AS3 Performance branding.
Please note all AS3 Performance skid plates are developed around the motorcycle when it is in complete OEM form, any optional extras or aftermarket parts like centre stands or crash bars etc may cause fitment issues. AS3 are really good to deal with. They respond quickly and professionally to messages and calls. I called about a query as to wether a part would fit my bike and they were very helpful so i ordered some bits at about lunch time. The parcel arrived the very next morning, now that's a fast service. The bash plate was the part i queried and it actually fouled the back brake lever because I had a different version of the bike it was made for. Not the fault at all of AS3 who stated if it doesn't fit send it back. I actually cut a piece of the bash plate away to allow clearance instead. It looks great on the bike but on the first ride out a rock hit the bottom of it and put a big dent in it. It done a great job of protecting the engine but it wasn't a big hit and the dent is big. I thought it would have been a lot stronger as its a substantial bit of kit. At least it done it's job and saved my engine. All the equipment I bought from AS3 was of great quality and I would not hesitate to buy from them again. Maybe another bash plate quite soon 🤦🏾♂️.
Also i forgot to mention that all the bits I purchased are of the best quality. The design, engineering and finished product are pieces of art. Good prices for a great products. Thanks AS3 team from James Tagimuri...
