AS3 Performance crash bars are constructed from strong, high quality, 3mm thick aluminium to provide maximum protection to the engine and fairings without adding unnecessary weight. They come complete with all brackets and bolts to mount them to the motorcycle as pictured and fitting instructions are also provided. AS3 Performance crash bars come in a textured matt black finish to match our range of aluminium skid plates.

I bought and installed these because they are the only tank guards on the market that are compatible with my Rally Raid Engine Guard. They feel amazingly solid when installed. Note: Instead of using the bolts that AS3 provided for under the upper fender, I used the original OEM bolts. The AS3 bolt heads are designed for use with a 3 mm hex wrench whereas the OEM bolt head is designed for use with a 5 mm hex wrench. In this type of application, I have found that 3 mm hex heads strip too easily when being tightened to spec. The OEM bolts are shorter than the AS3 bolts, but they are long enough to fully engage the j-nut on the bike. P.S. In my picture, you can see that: (1) I had my AS3 tank guards powder-coated red to match my bike's frame; (2) I have Cyclops lights mounted on the tank guards using SW-Motech light clamps; and (3) I have Ilium Works highway pegs mounted directly to the tank guards.
These crashbars are perfect, and can be fitted at the same time as the Rally Raid engine/sump-protection!
