How To Work Out Which Front Brake And Clutch Levers Will Fit Your Gas Gas Motocross Or Enduro Bike

We know from experience that it can be difficult working out which levers are right for your Gas Gas motocross or enduro bike as they can chop and change between Brembo and Braktec quite frequently. We have put together a guide 'Gas Gas Front Brake and Clutch Levers Explained' to give you as much information as possible on the models and years that they changed on. This also covers the MC 250 F Factory Edition and the MC 450 F Troy Lee Designs models.

Gas Gas Front Brake & Clutch Levers FAQs

Are Some Gas Gas Models Available With Both Brembo And Braktec Brakes?

Yes we have seen some models including the Gas Gas MC 250 F, MC 125 and EX 300 come with both Brembo and Braktec brakes and clutch in 2023. We do our best to try and highlight this in the 'Will Fit' section of our product description by stating which master cylinders our levers are designed to fit but please always double check before ordering.

What Front Brake And Clutch Levers Do Gas Gas Junior Motocross Bikes Use?

The Gas Gas MC 85 uses Formula front brake and clutch levers, this is also the same for the MC 65. The MC 50 and MC-E 5 only have a front brake which is again a Formula master cylinder. These levers are the same as the KTM and Husqvarna SX and TC 50, 65 and 85 models.

Are Gas Gas OEM Front Brake And Clutch Levers Forged Or Cast?

The OEM front brake and clutch levers that come as standard on the Gas Gas motocross and enduro bikes are manufactured from cast aluminium and come in a silver finish. Our front brake and clutch levers are forged from 6061 aluminium which makes them stronger and not as brittle as cast levers. They are also anodised in black which we feel looks much better when installed on any motocross or enduro bike.
