Which Parts Are Most Popular For The Fantic XX 125?

At AS3 Performance we have stocked, ridden and developed parts for the Fantic XX 125 since the bike's launch. Our range covers everything from foot pegs and braided brake lines to sprockets, anodised accessories and forged levers. Whether you're preparing the bike for racing, replacing a worn part, or simply upgrading a few areas, you should find what you need in this category.

Foot Pegs

Foot pegs are one of the most popular upgrades on any motocross bike. The OEM pegs are functional but narrower and heavier than our options. We supply four foot peg options for the XX 125, all wider than stock:

  • Titanium Foot Pegs — our strongest and lightest option, the choice for serious racers. See the titanium foot pegs.
  • Factory Series Foot Pegs — CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium with a stainless steel tooth plate, available in black or red.
  • Racing Series Foot Pegs — the same billet aluminium platform with stainless steel teeth, also in black or red.
  • Stainless Steel Foot Pegs — cast from high quality stainless steel with no welds and a replaceable base. See the stainless steel foot pegs.

Braided Brake Lines

Upgrading from the OEM rubber hoses to our AS3 Performance by Venhill stainless steel braided lines is one of the most noticeable improvements you can make to brake feel. Rubber hoses expand under pressure, creating a spongy feel, while a braided line gives a firmer, more consistent feel at both the front and rear brake. Available in black or red.

Skid Plate

The XX 125's engine casings are exposed to rocks and roost on every ride. Our DTC plastic skid plate is manufactured from 6mm thick DTC plastic, protecting the lower engine and frame, and the plastic construction lets it slide across obstacles smoothly.

Sprockets

We supply both front and rear sprockets for the XX 125. Our 7075 aluminium rear sprockets are up to 50% lighter than the OEM steel sprocket, and our Factory Series rear sprockets have an aluminium centre with a steel outer ring for the best balance of weight and durability. We also stock ultra-light steel front sprockets.

Anodised Accessories

A straightforward way to improve the look of the XX 125 is to replace standard cast aluminium or plastic OEM parts with billet aluminium alternatives in a polished, anodised finish. We stock front and rear brake reservoir covers, rear axle blocks, and an aluminium oil filler plug, all available in black or red.

What Parts Offer The Most Protection For The Fantic XX 125?

Skid Plate — The number one protection part for any off-road bike. Our DTC plastic skid plate covers the vulnerable engine casings and lower frame and absorbs impacts without adding significant weight.

Rear Brake Disc Guard — The OEM plastic guard is functional, but our aluminium disc guard is considerably stronger and helps prevent a bent or damaged brake disc that could end a race early.

Radiator Braces — After the handlebars, the radiators stick out furthest and are first to hit the ground when the bike is laid over. Our radiator braces form a protective cage around the radiators to help prevent damage.

About The Fantic XX 125

The XX 125 was first released in 2021 as part of a collaboration between Fantic and Yamaha Motor Europe. The base platform, frame, suspension and engine architecture, is Yamaha's proven YZ125 design, which Fantic have developed with their own components including a CDI unit, an Arrow expansion pipe, a Keihin 38mm carburettor, and their own plastics, seat and bodywork.

The engine is a 125cc liquid-cooled two-stroke single with a reed valve intake and the YPVS electronically controlled exhaust valve, running a 6-speed gearbox. From 2023 onwards the XX 125 has been supplied with two handlebar-selectable engine maps, a standard map and a soft map for wet or muddy conditions.

Suspension is fully adjustable Kayaba SSS front and rear, with 300mm of travel at the front and 315mm at the rear. Brakes are hydraulic disc, 270mm front and 240mm rear.

The XX 125 has had strong results in European motocross since its launch, taking the EMX125 European Championship title in its debut season, and remains a genuine contender at that level.

There are several changes you can make. Handlebar risers can give a more comfortable riding position, changing the brake and clutch levers can improve control and feel, and adjusting the gearing by fitting front and rear sprockets with more or fewer teeth can tailor the power delivery to your preference.

Is the Fantic XX 125 the same as the Yamaha YZ125?

They share the same base platform, the aluminium frame, Kayaba suspension and 125cc two-stroke engine architecture are all derived from the Yamaha YZ125. However Fantic have modified the engine with their own CDI unit, Arrow exhaust and carburettor, along with their own plastics, bodywork and seat. They are not identical bikes. Most of our parts fit both due to the shared platform, but always check fitment on the individual product pages.
