Clutch & Ignition Covers

The clutch and ignition covers on the XE 125 are vulnerable to damage in tough, technical enduro conditions, and a cracked cover can mean lost oil and a bike that's out of action. Upgrading to billet aluminium covers is one of the most practical protection upgrades you can make.

Both covers fit the Fantic XX 125 and XE 125 (2021 onwards).

Silicone Radiator Hoses

The OEM rubber radiator hoses are prone to swelling and deterioration over time, particularly when the cooling system runs hot. Our silicone radiator hoses are manufactured from reinforced silicone that resists heat, pressure and ageing better than rubber. They are a direct replacement for the OEM hoses and are available in red or blue.

Radiator Braces

The radiators are among the first things to contact the ground when the bike goes down, and a bent or cracked radiator is one of the more expensive repairs on any off-road bike. Our radiator braces form a protective cage around the radiators, mounting to the existing radiator mounts with no modification required.

Brake Pads & Brake Discs

Enduro riding puts heavy demands on the braking system. We stock front and rear brake pads in two compounds: our Racing Series pads for wet and muddy conditions, and our Factory Series pads for dry, hard pack conditions. We also supply brake discs for the XE 125. A worn or warped disc undermines even fresh pads, so it is worth checking disc condition when changing pads.

What Parts Offer The Most Protection For The Fantic XE 125?

Radiator Braces — The first line of defence for the cooling system. Our radiator braces mount directly to the radiator and provide a solid cage that deflects impacts.

Clutch & Ignition Covers — The left-hand side of the engine is particularly vulnerable as the OEM ignition cover is plastic. Our billet aluminium covers are far less likely to crack on impact. A case saver adds further protection behind the front sprocket.

Rear Brake Disc Guards — We offer a choice of aluminium and DTC plastic rear brake disc guards, both a significant improvement on the OEM guard. Our DTC plastic guards are much thicker than the OEM part and made from the same material as our skid plates.

About The Fantic XE 125

The XE 125 was introduced in 2021 as the enduro counterpart to the motocross-focused XX 125. It is built around the Yamaha YZ125 platform, sharing the aluminium frame, Kayaba SSS suspension and 125cc two-stroke engine architecture, but modified by Fantic with enduro-specific components and geometry.

Key Fantic modifications include a wide-ratio 6-speed gearbox with a lower first gear for slow technical terrain, a Fantic-developed CDI unit, an Arrow expansion pipe, and a Keihin 38mm carburettor. The bodywork, seat and ergonomics are Fantic's own.

Suspension is fully adjustable Kayaba SSS front and rear. Brakes are hydraulic disc, 270mm front and 240mm rear. The engine is a 125cc liquid-cooled two-stroke single with a reed valve intake and YPVS controlled exhaust valve. From 2023 onwards the XE 125 was supplied with two selectable engine maps.

The XE 125 is homologated for road use in most European markets with appropriate equipment, however the majority of our parts are designed for off-road and track use only, so please check before purchasing if you plan to use your XE 125 on the road.

Do you stock stronger clutch and ignition covers for the Fantic XE 125?

Yes. We supply a Factory Series billet aluminium clutch cover and a hard anodised ignition cover for the Fantic XE 125. Both are also compatible with the Fantic XX 125. Check the individual product pages for full fitment.

What colour silicone radiator hoses are available for the Fantic XE 125?

Our silicone radiator hoses for the Fantic XE 125 and XX 125 are available in red and blue, supplied as a complete kit. They are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber hoses, fitting the stock connections without modification. As the bike shares parts with the Yamaha YZ 125, black and white are also possible, but please contact us first as those are listed under Yamaha.

Do the Fantic XE 125 parts also fit the Fantic XX 125?

The majority of XE 125 enduro parts also fit the XX 125 motocross bike, as they share the same base platform. There are some exceptions including cables and brake pads, so please check the individual product page to confirm fitment for your specific model year.

Which brake pads are best for enduro use on the Fantic XE 125?

For most enduro use we recommend our Racing Series brake pads. They perform well in dry conditions and better than our Factory Series pads in slower, wet and muddy conditions, which are common in enduro riding.

How do I know when to replace the brake discs on my XE 125?

Our brake discs have a minimum thickness specification marked on the disc itself. If the disc has worn below that figure it should be replaced. Other signs include vibration or pulsing through the lever under braking, or visible scoring or heat discolouration. We list the outer diameter, inner diameter and thickness in the product description so you can check before purchasing.
